Well, after 5 years my old Dakane pack has gotten it's third leaky bladder..of course in the middle of a ride.
Well. hopped in the van and went straight the EMS to get a new one (closest place at the time) well, the new bladder was 25 bucks and a EMS branded whole pack was only $39. My old one was comfy but none of the pockets were tall enough to hold my shock pump. I don't carry it all the time but I like to be able to. Well, as I was looking at one the guy in the store remembered there are a bunch of last years models on sale over in the rack way off in a back corner...
Found this Bag Piper pack kinda big (in a good way) Lots of pockets everywhere. even one on the bottom about perfect for a tube!!

Well it not only was on sale, but the store is moving to a new location across the street so all sales were another 20% off!!
got a new (awesome) pack for $33 after taxes and everything!!
only like 5 bucks more than the bag would have been. and it comes with a nice Nalgene bladder!!!
Has really smart little tabs to hold the bladder's top in place. nice tube routing system, well made and comfortable straps. Have I said there are pockets everywhere!!
It's bigger than any my other packs and yet it's the most comfortable one I've worn to date... probably not going to be my "summer" bag. but the other 3 seasons.. it will be my pack of choice!! Knowing what I know now, I'd pay the full $69 for this pack!!
