Mountain Hardwear windproof pants
« on: February 08, 2010, 06:52:50 PM »
I commute.. just about everyday.. and try to ride the trails once a week.. through my years i have accumulated different articles of clothing to make it in the cold. I was eyeing these pants for a long time and finally decided to try them out. The drawback was they retail for $160 and i was not sure how they would be..
I wound up getting them on Backcountry.com for $120 with a coupon code.. yeah!!!

these pants are worth every penny.. let me repeat that.. these pants are worth every penny.. i am kicking myself for not getting them sooner..
know how you have to bundle up in 25 degree weather? layers and laters of tights, thermals etc.. you do not if you have these pants .. padded shorts and the pants or just plain boxers and them you will be warm..
full zippers down the side for easy of entry/exit.. and some cooling of in necessary ( they do breath well) , these pants define articulate knees.. you dont feel any bunching or gathering anywhere. they have a tapered leg that also velcroes.. to put tight against your shoe or in it. they ever have velcro tabs to connect suspenders if you like.. some ppl complain that they irritate your waistline but i had no such problem. the seat area is also a different material to avoid wear.
ive been usuing them everyday to commute everyday and at least once a weekend.. i wash them when i can  :undecided: they are aweosme.. capital A

Hmmmm. Haven't heard of these.
Gotta check 'em out.
Right now the only warm pants i've got are "Crashpads" and they've got too many padded areas that aren't necessary for a frozen XC stroll.
Thanks for the review.
