Ice Rides
« on: December 30, 2009, 11:47:32 PM »
Who's ready for riding the ice?
There's usually a couple of stellar moments on completely frozen trails.
What's eveyone's studded tires of choice these days?
I'll be mounting my Nokian Xtremes this week in preparation for ice season.
Doe's anyone else have a hard time mounting these tires? The beads are like steel. I've broken tire levers on 'em.  :-[
So, what's new with your winter riding?
The bitterness of poor workmanship remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten...

Ha! You can't resist can you. Just spread bear-fat all over yourself (ancient American Indian trick allowing one to swim in freezing water) and go for it.
Missed today's ride with DD. RATS !!  >:(
Oh! IT's Nyears eve !! Gotta get ready to party like it's 2099.
