Stans NoTubes ZTR355 (29")

Terrific!! (in every way)

When my SS29'r project bike was being built, my bike tech had a mishap with the first set of wheels that were NOT the Stans. It was a blessing in disguise cause we went with a prebuilt set of the ZTR's.
When i took them out of the box, they nearly floated up and out of the box by themselves!
They are so light and compliant. With tire pressures down to 20lbs, i'm in rigid heaven. Never thought a fully rigid ride could be so good, so light, so compliant. Yep, all that and a bit more...
They've taken a pounding for most of the summer and haven't needed any truing yet.
I'm certainly no hammerhead, but i'm not petite either. At 170lbs, i'm conscience of my frames, wheels, and parts, especially cause i like to engage the "trail features" that often pop up from time to time. The typical logpiles, bailing off logrides/low skinnies, and mild drops (1-2'rs) are no problem for these wheels.
They're deserving of an all-around 10 out of 10.  :thumb:
The bitterness of poor workmanship remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten...
