So I see these thingies when doing a search for velocity rims, Velo Plugs... what are they? well, they are little plastic simple snap in plugs that cover the holes inside your rim. Basically replace the rim tape. Simple, light (lighter than tape) easy to install, easy to remove if you need to replace a spoke... Surprised someone didn't come up with it before this!!
Hole sizing can be an issue on other than Velocity's own rims but can be taken care of easy enough with a push or pull of the clip fingers...
they work, they work good!! If you look around you can find them for right around $10 for 72 of them, does both wheels.
