Rock Shox SID rebuild
« on: April 03, 2009, 07:55:02 PM »
Apparently I need to have my shock rebuilt as It is losing air. I thought I would go to Pushed industries but they mainly deal with Fox shocks and only do a few rock Shox forks.

Any have a guess at how much a rebuild costs?

thanks,
Steve

no prob!!  ;D

i have done a quick read.. I hear a lot of people have been able to just add oil to the air chamber to get the dry seals to work again... worth a try...

usually its the seals on there.. a good lbs can get u new seals and put in some new oil for about $60 .. possibly more depending if it needs anything else. If memory serves me correctly they sell a whole kit to redo that fork
