In the Shop, Oils, stands and stuff

Everyone has their favorite oil, chain lube, grease.  So what are they?

Chain lube - I like Finishline's teflon "dry" I use it yr round. Ya it's not a wet oil but that's what I like about it. you do have to apply a bit more often during wet/winter season but it cleans a LOT easier than wet oil based lubes and it keeps out dirt better.
I have been thinking of trying the "purple" stuff though.

Link, pivot point, cable oil- Tri flow. the little bottle with the hose for pin point oiling!!

Grease - Well not sure what it is... I purchased the bottom of a tube of grease from my local shop.  I needed some, he only had one tube left and needed it himself so he sold me his last bit in the old one for 2 bucks... was perfect because it's lasted almost a yr  covering my little needs
May your last ride not be, "your last ride"!!

I'll tag along on this thread with my 2C:

10-10
After trying many lubes for MTB over the past 15 years, there's one i'm liking more than any yet: PURPLE EXTREME.
On first-use, this stuff seems so thin one might ask: "how can a substance this thin and watery possible set-up right?"  Well, it amazed me. As thin as it goes on, ...An hour later it leaves a tough coating...a super thin coating that resists moisture and dirt. The beauty of PE is that, due to it's thin-liquidy nature, it seems to rinse out all that was there before....everytime you use it...only to leave a lovely coating again.
In other words, there is NO buildup whatsoever. A little goes a long way, so if the price seems too steep, don't worry, you don't need alot of it.
My chains have never been happier, shiny-clean, dirt-free.
IMO it gets a 10 rating.
The bitterness of poor workmanship remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten...

I'm a huge fan of white lightening for my chain.. you just need to make sure to full degrease the chain before putting it on
