Bought the wrong seatpost clamp for the wife's bike...
« on: February 19, 2009, 11:09:37 PM »

So I placed an order through Pricepoint and got a new seatpost clamp, 31.8mm with the quick release.  Its too small.  DAMN!!!  I broke my old one and stole her's so I could put it on my last bike when I sold it.  Neither had numbers on it.  So I guess I need to go more than a millimeter bigger than the post....   I might keep it as a spare in case I need it down the road, unless someone wants it.

Just venting... I should've bought both sizes!

should be a size on it or the seat post... just take the seat post number and get one size up for the clamp. oh, and you can probably just go to your local shop and get one out of the bin for a few bucks, most places have a bunch of them just hanging around in some parts box, it's how I just got one.
